Rick Mitchell (Emeritus) has served as naturalist, lead teacher and administrator at SCICON since 1986.  A science teacher by training, Rick had taught in Colusa, Fresno and Visalia school districts prior to coming to SCICON.  According to Rick, “SCICON has enabled me to share my love for the natural world with my passion for working with youth!”
